Spanish bugloss is used in hair products, owing to it’s antiseptic and anti-inflammatory properties. It has been proven to be very effective in increasing hair strength and since it is a natural hair colour, safe and has no effect on health. It’s root extracted into oil can be very useful to cover hair cuticle, prevent hair fall, and symptoms of baldness. Spanish bugloss is a red dye which is soaked in almond or castor oils to extract a beautiful, vibrant pink colour. Traditionally, cultivated in Central and Southern Europe as a natural dye to stain wood and colour medicines.
